Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to many nations. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries.
Food Drive
Each month we collect a specific type of food donation and then give that to a local pantry. On a quarterly basis we also work to provide food and service to the Welcome Table, a local outreach in London.
Missions
Our church is very active in the support of world missions. We are also supporting local families that are now ministering in foreign countries.
Music
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in special groups.
We have a staffed nursery for babies, infants and toddlers.
King’s Kids
Ages 3-5 during our morning service. Children are dismissed after Praise and Worship time.
Journey Kids
Journey Kids is our children’s church program where children ages 6-11 learn and apply God’s Word to their everyday life. Children are in regular service for Praise and Worship, then dismissed.
Prayer — Intercessory, Online Requests,
We have a prayer line for requests that are emailed to our prayer partners. Updates are also emailed, so the church community is notified with the status of those in the hospital or returning home from some event.
We also have men’s and women’s intercessory prayer on Tuesday (women) and Thursday (men). Times vary.
Prison Ministry
Men in our church have weekly Bible studies with the men incarcerated at London Correctional Institution on Wednesday 6-8pm. Men are also a part of the Horizon Program on Tuesday evenings.
Senior Saints
Our 55+ members are very active with gatherings and taking trips locally, as well as out of state.
Sunday School
We offer traditional Sunday School for all ages, including adult classes.
Women’s Ministries
Women have a very active group that meet at special times during the year. They plan parties and provide for needs of others.
Youth Groups – Senior, Junior
Youth in on Sunday evenings at 5pm for teaching and Bible study. They meet other times for activities, conventions and with other youth groups in the community.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. Audio visual operators are utilized to enhance our worship services. Our weekly services are uploaded to our website in audio format. We also maintain an active Facebook and smartphone app for additional church communication.
